I could mask my pain by pretending it’s not there. Self medicating could be soothing if I didn’t care. Masking the pain would only bring a temporary fix. When it faded that pain would only resurface with even more that sticks.
An easy way out it might turn out to be. Reality might then seem playable but only temporarily. When the mask fades the truth will be there waiting to reappear. Grabbing hold of everything that you once held dear. Bringing about even more problems to play in the end.
This is not the answer to help your problems mend. Reality can be down right depressing. False reality will only lead you to more second guessing. Hit the problem hard on to stop them dead in their tracks. Do this first before more pain and agony have the time to stack.
Ignoring the truth even for a short time will prove the wrong way. For it is then that a false security will then quickly be portrayed. Once a false sense is accepted by it’s host, Ones true self then starts to become nothing more than a ghost
