Finding Peace

Numb is what is felt
I can't word how it felt
as this dreadful day now
comes to a close.

Ending many weeks
of sleepless nights
due to fear of the unknown.
All brought on by
a so called trust I suppose.

Funny, I guess I wasn't even
sure what to expect.
Going over the slides
back and forth
up and down
side to side
wondering what on earth
could possibly come next!

Relief came with
a little more information.
Soon I hope I will be able
to sleep at night and
not require any type of sedation.

The nightmares still
reoccurring from all
that transpired.
Thats my acrimony
